Granholm Signs Insurance Reform

Legislation At Local Warehouse

                    On July 23, Gov. Jennifer Granholm signed into law the Small

               Group Rate Reform legislation. The law will help stabilize health

               care costs for small businesses by capping rate increases and

               ending the practice of adverse selection.

                    The ceremony took place at Canada Dry Bottling of Lansing, a

               Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce member.
